This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
i havent designed squat as far as new concept designs (hopefully im somehow improving meanwhile). i have been playin with Macromedia Fireworks and Flash more recently as u can tell by my recent deviations. I have come up with 3 signatures for the Matrixowners.com forums; i own a 2003 toyota matrix xr. and also put together a fake picture of my car on a track. granted its not the best, keep in my its my first time. and Macromedia Fireworks sux compared to photoshop...
hopefully ill pick back up on designing soon. i took a break cus skwl has gotten busier and college is only a few more months away. HELLOOOO ARCHITECTUAL ENGINEERING!!! muahahaha.

Nice Gallery. always nice to have another WRC fan around. I like some of your concepts.
I hope you dont mind a little criticism....
I think you need to work on your perspective, proportions and foreshortening. Otherwise, really good work.

thankz, i need a lil criticizm, umm, whats foreshortening? lol. personally, the more i look at my sketches, they all suck, but of course, me being my own worse critic. i need someone else to tell me how they look at it cus im only focused on certain aspects while u look at the bigger picture, like... for instance, i feel theres somethin wrong with
I'll give you an example of foreshortening. Go look at my gallery. Find the Audi S1. Notice how I drew the whole front of the car, but the side of the car is really short. I had to draw the wheels, windows, the door all really tall and very narrow. Thats foreshortening.
The link you showed me was pretty sweet. although, I think the problem with it is that the lines which are supposed to be parallel arent. Like the top of the windscreen should be parallel with the bottom of the bumper. Its hard to explain what else makes it look sorta weird. I cant really give you any advice, other than keep drawing. My cars used to look really really crap like 3 years ago. My parents were supportive and would tell me they werent very good, but I should keep working on them. So I did, because I loved to do it. and now you see what my cars look like. They arent perfect yet. I'm not sure they ever will be. But I'm definitely much more proud of them now than I used to be.
Plus, you might want to try copying pictures of cars. That way you draw what you see, not only what you imagine. THe more you draw what you see, the easier it will become to make cars look realistic with perspective and foreshortening without having to look at anything. Most of my good car pictures are copied from a photograph. I dont trace, but I get very picky about lengths and distances. I've gotten to the point where I use a ruler to measure almost everything. I think it might have something to do with the engineering graphics classes I'm taking. Oh well. I've rambled on long enough.
Keep up the good work.
